A TV anime co-produced by Dax International and Nippon Animation, based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House on the Prairie" series. In late 19th-century American frontier, the Ingalls family—Laura, father Charles, mother Caroline, sister Mary, and sister Carrie—live with nature in untamed wilderness, traveling by covered wagon, building log cabins, and farming. Aired on NHK as a US-Japanese co-production, it warmly depicts family bonds and pioneer spirit. 26 episodes.
