Zero Tester

Aired: 1973 - 1974

An SF mecha action anime co-produced by Soeisha (later Sunrise), Sunrise Studio, and Tatsunoko Production. The international Zero Tester team's members Go, Lin, and Jiro pilot the combining Tester 1, 2, and 3 mecha against the alien Almander Empire. As Soeisha's first original work, it featured early contributions from future Gundam creators including Yoshiyuki Tomino and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. Aired October 1973-March 1974 as season one, continuing as "Zero Tester: Mamore Chikyu!" in 1974.
