Shin Obake no Q-tarou (1971 TV anime)

A comedy anime produced by Tokyo Movie, the second TV adaptation of Fujiko Fujio's "Obake no Q-tarou" manga after the 1965 TBS version. Good-natured ghost Q-tarou (Q-chan) lives with the human boy Shota's family, creating daily comedy. Q-tarou's brother O-jiro's "Bakeratta!" became a national catchphrase, and characteristics like dog phobia and udon love took root. A representative early Fujiko anime co-produced with Shin-Ei Animation (then A Production). About 170 episodes.
