A school comedy anime produced by Toei Doga (Toei Animation), adapted from Shotaro Ishinomori's "Okashina Okashina Okashina Ano Ko" in Ribon magazine. Energetic transfer student Sarutobi Etchan, self-proclaimed descendant of legendary ninja Sasuke Sarutobi, creates chaos at her urban elementary school with her dog Buku. The series renamed the long original title to feature the protagonist. A distinct "high-energy girl heroine" departure from Toei's magical girl line. 26 episodes.
