Pinch to Punch

A TV anime produced by Fuji TV Enterprises. Original concept by Takashi Aoki. Broadcast in 156 short episodes on Fuji TV from September 29, 1969 to March 28, 1970 in a five-minute daily slot (Monday through Saturday, 18:50-18:55). The series follows the prank-loving twin brothers Pinch and Punch (Pinch voiced by Sachiko Chichimatsu) as they pull daily pranks on their education-obsessed mother, hypocritical adults, and overly studious classmates, alongside antics involving their girlfriend Dotako, little sister Chibigon, and pet pig Ijibuta. Picking up the slot from the preceding Sobakasu Pucchi, it continued the then-experimental five-minute daily anime format. (C)Fuji TV Enterprises
