Set in a fictional Meiji-Taisho era Japan, this love story continues the bond between Miyo Saimori, mistreated by her family, and the reputedly cold military officer Kiyoka Kudo. Produced by Kinema Citrus, with over 9 million copies in circulation (as of 2024).
