A television anime based on Nihon Falcom's popular RPG series The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. Animation production by Tatsunoko Production. A girl named Lavi, raised in Northern Ambria, the poorest state in northwestern Zemuria, volunteers to join the Northern Jaegers to prove she is nothing like her grandfather who betrayed their homeland. After repeated violations, she forms a small unit with Marty, Iseria, and Talion, assigned a reckless infiltration mission into the Erebonian Empire.
