Kazuki and Rei, assassins living in the underworld, unexpectedly end up taking in four-year-old Miri Umisaka—the daughter of their assassination target. The sociable Kazuki and taciturn Rei are polar opposites, yet both struggle to care for the cheerful Miri while juggling their deadly profession. Though bewildered at being called "Papa," daily life with Miri gradually transforms them.
