Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage

A theatrical sequel to the TV anime 'Ooyukiumi no Kaina,' based on an original work by Nihei Tsutomu. In a world blanketed by thick snow, the story continues the journey of Kaina, a boy living on the canopy of an orbital tree, and Liliha, a princess from a kingdom on the surface below. Their travels beyond the great snow sea lead to encounters with unknown civilizations. Directed by Andou Hiroaki, with voice performances by Hosoya Yoshimasa, Takahashi Rie, Sakamoto Maaya, and Hanae Natsuki. The theme song 'Gekkoyoku' by Yorushika adds color to the film's fantastical visual world.
