A TV anime produced by Studio Gokumi × AXsiZ, based on the manga by LINK (story) and Kotaro Shono (art), serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ and totaling 18 volumes. The series has exceeded 9 million copies in circulation (as of May 2023). In near-future Tokyo of 2040, young man Reito Mizuhara, afflicted with an incurable disease, enters cold sleep vowing to reunite with his childhood friend Erisa Tachibana. When he awakens five years later, the MK (Male Killer) virus has wiped out 99.9% of men on Earth, leaving only 5 men against 5 billion women. His handler Mira Suou asks him, as one of the few males called "Numbers," to cooperate in reproduction, but Reito—devoted solely to Erisa—refuses and resolves to find a cure for the MK virus instead. Meanwhile, fellow Numbers member Shota Doi enthusiastically embraces his life surrounded by women. 11 episodes. Main cast includes Taichi Ichikawa as Reito, Haruka Shiraishi as Mira, Kazuki Ura as Shota, and Ayana Taketatsu as Karen Kamiya.
