The fourth season of the TV anime produced by Pierrot and Studio Signpost, based on the manga by Yasuhisa Hara serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump. The series has sold over 87 million copies. Set in China's Warring States period, the story follows war orphan Xin, who aims to become a Great General, and young Qin king Ying Zheng, who seeks to unify China. The fourth season shifts from the Coalition Army arc to power struggles within Qin, centering on the "Cheng Jiao Incident" as Zheng confronts his greatest domestic obstacle, Lu Buwei.
