A TV anime produced by Bibury Animation Studios, an original multimedia project by Key (Visual Arts) in collaboration with Kotobukiya. Autonomous mechanical dolls (automata) created as weapons during a great war that ended just years ago are repaired and restored as new staff at the café "Kuronekotei" in the peaceful postwar world. Five girls—Haizakura who loves singing, the emotionally detached Karasuba, the gentle and kindhearted Gekka, the energetic Houkiboshi, and the mysterious Ratzel—find new "roles" for themselves, healing people's hearts through their singing voices while searching for their own reason for existence. 12 episodes. Main cast includes Azumi Waki as Haizakura, Tomori Kusunoki as Karasuba, Miu Tomita as Gekka, Yuki Nakashima as Houkiboshi, and Akari Kito as Ratzel.
