Teasing Master Takagi-san: The Movie

A theatrical anime produced by Shin-Ei Animation, based on the manga "Teasing Master Takagi-san" by Soichiro Yamamoto, serialized in Shogakukan's Gessan. The series has exceeded 12 million copies in circulation (as of September 2023). Released June 10, 2022, with box office revenue of approximately 403 million yen. Now third-year middle schoolers, Takagi-san and Nishikata see their last summer of middle school approaching, with peers beginning to think about the future amid mixed feelings. The day before summer break begins, they encounter a small kitten on their way home and name it "Hana," deciding to care for it until they find its mother. As they watch Hana gradually warm up to them, the midsummer days filled with happiness from this small encounter nurture new feelings. Runtime: 73 minutes.
