A TV anime produced by EMT Squared, based on the Shoot! soccer manga series by Tsukasa Oshima, serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine (4-part series with over 50 million copies in cumulative circulation). Winner of the 18th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category. This completely new anime adaptation aired from July to September 2022 for 13 episodes. The story follows the encounter between Atsushi Kamiya (CV: Yuichiro Umehara), the former captain of Kakegawa High School known as the "World's Fighting General" who played for a prestigious Italian club, and Hideto Tsuji (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi), a student at the now-weakened Kakegawa High School who distances himself from the soccer club. Together with teammates Subaru Kurokawa (CV: Shunichi Toki) and Masaru Fuuma (CV: Yuki Ono), they embark on a journey to revive the glory of Kakegawa High School's soccer club.
