This is the second season of the popular franchise with cumulative game sales exceeding 800,000 copies and related manga sales surpassing 1.2 million copies. In a world where humanity has been at war with the extraterrestrial species BETA for over 30 years, protagonist Takeru Shirogane (CV: Koichi Kamiki), who possesses memories of the future, strives to complete the "Alternative IV" project at the UN Yokohama Base. The second season depicts Operation 21st, a large-scale offensive to capture the Sadogashima Hive, featuring the strategic aerial mobile fortress "Susanoo Type-2" and its 00 Unit Sumika Kagami (CV: Tomori Kusunoki), along with the escort unit Isumi Valkyries in a desperate battle. Meiya Mitsurugi (CV: Karin Nanami), Chizuru Sakaki (CV: Miku Ito), and Kei Ayamine (CV: Iori Saeki) fight alongside Takeru against the BETA. 12 episodes.
