A TV anime produced by Liden Films, an original project planned by "Manpuku Entertainment Production," a collaboration between Liden Films, Fuji Television, and Polygon Pictures. Kentaro Sanada (CV: Daisuke Hirakawa), a middle-aged man whose longtime company went bankrupt, who failed at re-employment, and whose unemployment benefits are about to expire, finds himself on stage at a press conference for the "Older Man Idol Project" launched by Manpuku Entertainment. Together with former middle school teacher Naoki Ishida (CV: Katsuyuki Konishi), former soccer player Yu Asai (CV: Jun Fukuyama), former popular child actor Tsuyoshi Imagawa (CV: Daisuke Namikawa), Manpuku Entertainment manager Daisuke Yamanaka (CV: Toshiyuki Morikawa), and former #1 host Makoto Kakizaki (CV: Nozomu Sasaki), these six troubled middle-aged men aim to debut as idols under the name "Eternal Boys." The series depicts their journey through communal life's troubles and conflicts as they gradually capture people's hearts. 24 episodes (2 cours).
