Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day

A theatrical anime produced by Zero-G, based on the sci-fi juvenile manga by Tetsuya Imai serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon, compiled into 2 volumes. Set in the summer of 2049, fourth-grader Yuma Sawatari (voiced by Hana Sugisaki) lives in the Asagaya housing complex and is fascinated by the approaching comet "SH III Arvill." One day, the family's AI household robot Nanako (voiced by Aoi Yuki) is hacked by a mysterious entity calling itself "The February Dawn" (voiced by Romi Park), an extraterrestrial intelligence that crash-landed on Earth in 2022 and has been dormant while disguised as one of the apartment buildings. Learning of its wish to return to space, Yuma teams up with friends Shingo Kishi (voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara), Daichi Tadokoro (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), and Hanaka Kawai (voiced by Inori Minase) to embark on a secret mission hidden from the adults.
