An original TV anime produced by CloverWorks, marking screenwriter Shinji Nojima's first involvement in TV anime as concept creator and screenwriter. Ai Ohto, a 14-year-old truant middle schooler, is guided by a mysterious voice during a late-night walk and obtains an "Egg." Transported to another world, she cracks the Egg to find a girl inside, whom she must protect from enemies. She meets Neiru Aonuma, Rika Kawai, and Momoe Sawaki, who also possess Eggs, and they fight to bring back the important people they've lost. The four girls confront their own trauma while unraveling the mysteries of the Egg world. 12 episodes plus 1 special. Starring Kanata Aikawa, Tomori Kusunoki, Shuka Saito, and Hinaki Yano.
