A TV anime produced by Studio Bind (a studio established specifically for this series), based on the web novel by Rifujin na Magonote originally published on "Shosetsuka ni Narou." The light novel is published by KADOKAWA/MF Books. Over 17 million copies in circulation (including digital, as of 2025). A 34-year-old jobless shut-in dies in a traffic accident and reincarnates in a fantasy world as Rudeus Greyrat, son of former adventurers Paul and Zenith. Determined to live his new life to the fullest, he studies magic under Roxy Migurdia, befriends Sylphiette, and becomes tutor to his cousin Eris Boreas Greyrat. A landmark "isekai" series. Season 1 has 23 episodes (split-cour). Directed by Manabu Okamoto, with music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa.
