A TV anime produced by david production, based on the novel by Yukako Kabei published by Shueisha (Shueisha Bunko) since 2013. Aired in Fuji TV's "noitaminA" block. Kimichika Haijima, who caused a serious incident at a prestigious Tokyo middle school volleyball club, returns to his hometown Fukui and reunites with childhood friend Yuni Kuroba. The two, who had a falling out at their last prefectural tournament, enroll at Seiin High School and join the boys' volleyball team. Alongside 3rd-year captain Oda who leads despite being 163cm tall and vice-captain Aoki, they aim for the Spring Tournament from a weak team.
