Set at Asahigaoka Branch School with only five students, first-grader Renge Miyauchi, 7th-grader Hotaru Ichijo, 8th-grader Natsumi Koshigaya, and 9th-grader Komari Koshigaya enjoy daily life in the idyllic countryside—growing vegetables, catching bugs, and practicing instruments.
