An original TV anime produced by MAPPA, with concept by Cygames. Under producer Kotaro Tatsumi, "Franchouchou," an idol group of seven legendary girls resurrected as zombies, continues their mission to save Saga Prefecture. In Season 2 "Revenge," they face crises of zombie exposure and group dissolution as Sakura, Saki, Ai, Junko, Yugiri, Lily, and Tae aim even higher. Members' past lives are revealed, including Yugiri's dramatic Meiji-era story and deep connections to Saga's history. 12 episodes. Directed by Munehisa Sakai, music by Yasuharu Takanashi and Funta7.
