The series has surpassed 5 million copies in circulation. Nozomi Onda, who played on her middle school's boys' soccer team, enrolls at Warabi Seinan High School and joins the girls' soccer team. Joined by speedy wing Sumire Suo and nationally ranked 3rd-place midfielder Midori Soshizaki, with former Nadeshiko Japan legend Naoko Nomi as coach, the underdog team that never made it past regionals takes on powerhouse schools including the national champion Kunogi Academy. 13 episodes.
