A TV anime produced by Domerica and Shin-Ei Animation, based on Square Enix's Nintendo DS game "The World Ends with You: It's a Wonderful World" (released 2007, directed by Tetsuya Nomura). A boy named Neku awakens at Shibuya's scramble crossing to find himself in the "UG (Underground)," a dimension overlapping the real Shibuya. Unknowingly made a participant in the "Reapers' Game," Neku forms a pact with a girl named Shiki and faces unreasonable 7-day missions and monsters called "Noise" while uncovering the truth behind the game and his own lost memories. 12 episodes. Aired on MBS/TBS's "Super Animeism" block. Directed by Kazuya Ichikawa. Music by Takeharu Ishimoto.
