A TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation, based on the manga by Coolkyousinnjya serialized in Futabasha's Monthly Action. Over 3.8 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). Dragons Tohru, Kanna, Lucoa, Fafnir, and Elma have settled into human society, enjoying daily life with office worker Kobayashi and Takiya. Season 2 introduces the new dragon Ilulu, depicting how she changes through interactions with Kobayashi and friends despite initially rejecting human-dragon coexistence. While Tohru and Kobayashi's bond deepens, Tohru's father the Emperor of Demise begins to move. 12 episodes. Series director Yasuhiro Takemoto (who passed away in the 2019 Kyoto Animation arson attack; this serves as his posthumous work), directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, music by Masumi Ito.
