Sonny Boy

A TV anime produced by MADHOUSE. An original work directed, written, and created by Shingo Natsume, with character designs by Hisashi Eguchi. On August 16th, when summer vacation should have ended, 36 middle school students including Nagara find themselves adrift in another dimension along with their entire school. The drifting students, including transfer student Nozomi, Mizuho, and Asakaze, simultaneously gain various supernatural powers. Some go wild with their newfound abilities, others try to maintain order, and some search for a way back to their world. Amid distrust, jealousy, and desire for control, these adolescents are forced into survival. The series spans 12 episodes with a unique musical approach featuring different artists for each episode, including VIDEOTAPEMUSIC. The main cast includes Aoi Ichikawa as Nagara, Saori Oonishi as Nozomi, and Aoi Yuuki as Mizuho. ©Sonny Boy committee
