How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom

A TV anime produced by J.C.STAFF, based on the light novel by Dojyomaru published under Overlap Bunko, with over 3.2 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). High school graduate Kazuya Souma is suddenly summoned to the Kingdom of Elfrieden as a "hero." Rather than fighting, he proposes economic and military reforms to King Albert, who then abdicates the throne to him. Now King Souma, alongside his fiancée Princess Liscia, he recruits talented individuals including warrior Aisha, strategist Hakuya, gourmet Poncho, songstress Juna, and beast-eared girl Tomoe, using realistic policies to rebuild the struggling kingdom. The first part spans 13 episodes. The main cast includes Yuusuke Kobayashi as Souma, Inori Minase as Liscia, and Ikumi Hasegawa as Aisha.
