A TV anime produced by TMS Entertainment, based on the light novel by Yuri Kitayama published under Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Riv. The series has surpassed 2.8 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). Rio, a boy orphaned in the slums after his mother was murdered, one day awakens the memories and powerful magical abilities of Japanese college student Haruto Amakawa, realizing he has been reincarnated in another world. After contributing to the rescue of a kidnapped princess, Rio enrolls at an elite academy for nobility but faces persecution due to his low social status. Supported by his mentor Celia Claire, Rio grows stronger and eventually encounters the Spirit People, confronting his own origins. The series spans 12 episodes.
