Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy

A TV anime produced by C2C, based on the web novel by Kei Azumi originally published on "Shousetsuka ni Narou" and later in print by AlphaPolis. The manga adaptation is illustrated by Kotora Kino. The series has surpassed 4.2 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). High school student Makoto Misumi is summoned to another world as a hero due to a contract his parents made with a goddess. However, the goddess insults his appearance and strips him of his hero title, banishing him to the wasteland at the edge of the world. In despair, Makoto receives the blessing of Tsukuyomi and forms master-servant contracts with Tomoe, a superior dragon species, and Mio, a disaster-class spider. Using the "Asora" realm where demi-humans live as his base, he travels the world as a merchant. The series spans 12 episodes.
