The second cour of the TV anime produced by Studio Bind, based on the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote published by KADOKAWA's MF Books, originally from the "Shosetsuka ni Narou" web novel platform. The series has over 10 million copies in circulation (as of February 2022). This 12-episode cour (Episodes 13-23) follows Rudeus Greyrat as he returns to the Central Continent after a three-year journey through the Demon Continent with Eris Boreas Greyrat and the warrior Ruijerd. Along the way, they encounter the Dragon God Orsted, the second-ranked of the Seven Great World Powers. After returning to the Fittoa Region, Eris departs to train at the Holy Land of the Sword, but her abrupt departure leads Rudeus to misunderstand that she abandoned him, plunging him into deep despair. The Man-God Hitogami continues to manipulate events from the shadows while the search for Rudeus's missing mother Zenith remains unresolved. Main cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus, Ai Kakuma as Eris, Konomi Kohara as Roxy, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Orsted.
