Fena: Pirate Princess

An original TV anime produced by Production I.G, created by Kazuto Nakazawa, and internationally co-produced with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll. Spanning 12 episodes, this fantasy adventure is set in the 18th century. Young Fena Houtman loses her father Franz to pirates during a sea voyage and is raised on "Shangri-La," a state-sanctioned island of courtesans. Ten years later, Fena decides to escape, and her childhood friend Yukimaru, a ninja of the Onizuka clan serving the Sanada family who have protected the Houtman line for generations, comes to her rescue. Guided by the word "Eden" from her memories, Fena sets sail with Yukimaru and his Onizuka companions—Shitan, Karin, Enju, Kaede, Tsubaki, and Makaba—on a maritime adventure to unravel the mystery of Eden.
