Megaton-class Musashi

A TV anime produced by OLM, a cross-media project by Level-5 with planning, original concept, and screenplay by Akihiro Hino (President of Level-5). The anime launched simultaneously with a Nintendo Switch/PS4 game (released November 2021). Season 1 spans 13 episodes (TBS). In 2118, the alien "Dracters" invade Earth, wiping out 99.9% of humanity. Survivors retreat to the underground shelter "Ixia," building giant robots called "Rogues" to fight back. Shelter residents have their memories altered, unaware of the invasion. High schooler Yamato Ichidaiji is recruited by classmate Teru Asami as a pilot for the Megaton-class Rogue "Musashi." After his memory manipulation is undone, revealing the truth of his family's murder, Yamato joins Ryugo Hijikata in a battle for humanity's survival.
