The ninth TV anime in the Digimon franchise produced by Toei Animation, based on the original concept by Akiyoshi Hongo. Character designs by Tenya Yabuno. The Digimon franchise originated from Bandai's portable virtual pet device released in 1997. Spanning 67 episodes (October 2021 - March 2023, Fuji TV Sunday morning 9AM slot). In a world set in the "slight future," rumors of mysterious phenomena called "Hologram Ghosts" spread across social media. First-year middle schooler Hiro Amanokawa activates the "Digivice V" left by his missing father, gaining the ability to see Digimon invisible to others. Meeting his mischievous partner Digimon Gammamon, along with classmate Ruli Tsukiyono (partner: Angoramon) and graduate student Kiyoshiro Higashimitarai (partner: Jellymon), the trio solves horror-themed supernatural incidents caused by Digimon.
