Princess Principal Crown Handler Chapter 1 is a theatrical anime film produced by Actas. It is the first chapter of a six-part theatrical sequel series continuing the 2017 TV anime "Princess Principal," released on February 11, 2021. Set in an alternate 19th-century London where the Kingdom of Albion has been divided by a great wall into east and west, the story follows five girls of "Team White Pigeon," a Commonwealth spy team posing as students at the Queen's Mayfair Academy on the Kingdom side. After recovering from the queen's assassination attempt incident, the team receives a new mission: extracting a bookshop owner held in Kingdom custody. Ange, Dorothy, and Chise execute the retrieval operation, but the Kingdom's intensifying "spy hunt" makes their activities increasingly dangerous. With a runtime of 53 minutes, the film was directed by Masaki Tachibana with series composition and screenplay by Noboru Kimura and original character design by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The voice cast includes Aoi Koga, Akira Sekine, You Taichi, Akari Kageyama, Nozomi Furuki, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Takayuki Sugo. The music was composed by Yuki Kajiura.
