Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go - The Movie is a theatrical anime film produced by Mattel Creations. Based on "The Railway Series" by Reverend W. Awdry. When inventor Ruth arrives at the Island of Sodor in a flying car and, together with the Earl, organizes a "Future Invention Show," Thomas (CV: Kumiko Higa) worries that the latest inventions might make him obsolete. A surprise guest, the world's fastest super express Kenji (CV: Kento Kaku) is invited from Japan. However, two suspicious men scheme to steal the inventions, putting the show in jeopardy. Directed by Ian Cherry and Joey So, with screenplay by Paul Larson, Laura Beaumont, and Becky Overton. Guest voice actor Junpei Goto of comedy duo Jarujaru voices Sunny. Runtime: 61 minutes.
