Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle is a theatrical anime film produced by OLM. The 23rd theatrical film in the Pokemon TV anime series, released December 25, 2020. The Pokemon game series has sold over 440 million units worldwide as of 2023. Deep in a remote jungle lies "Okoya Forest," a paradise for Pokemon protected by strict rules. A boy named Coco (CV: Moka Kamishiraishi), raised by the mythical Pokemon Zarude (CV: Kankuro Nakamura), believes himself to be a Pokemon. When Ash (CV: Rica Matsumoto) and Pikachu (CV: Ikue Otani) visit Okoya Forest, they become Coco's first human friends. But when the forest faces a sudden development crisis, the bonds between parent and child, and friendships transcending species, are put to the test. Directed by Tetsuo Yajima, with music produced by Okazaki Taiiku, who created all six theme songs for the film. Runtime: 99 minutes. The film earned approximately 2.02 billion yen at the box office.
