Natsuki Subaru, a shut-in high schooler summoned to another world, protects his loved ones by dying and returning repeatedly with his "Return by Death" ability. In Season 2, after his deadly battle with the Witch Cult Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Subaru travels to the Sanctuary where he confronts the Witch of Greed Echidna. He faces trials to break the Sanctuary's barrier while Rem remains unconscious and the schemes of Emilia, Beatrice, and Roswaal intertwine. 25 episodes (split-cour). Directed by Masaharu Watanabe, music by Kenichiro Suehiro.
