"Immortal Sugimoto" Saichi Sugimoto, a Russo-Japanese War veteran, and Ainu girl Asirpa compete in a treasure hunt for a massive gold hoard hidden in Hokkaido. Season 3 follows them to Karafuto (Sakhalin) pursuing tattooed skin clues, intensifying the three-way battle with Lt. Tsurumi's 7th Division and Russian forces. A one-of-a-kind work blending harsh survival, Ainu cultural depiction, and gourmet elements in frigid lands. 12 episodes. Directed by Hitoshi Nanba, music by Kenichiro Suehiro.
