Inspired by a travelogue she read as a child, Elaina earns the title of "Ashen Witch" at just 15 years old and sets out to travel the world, keeping a promise to her mentor Fran. Through encounters with people and events across various lands, she witnesses the beautiful yet cruel facets of the world in this episodic fantasy. Episodes range from heartwarming to shockingly dark. 12 episodes. Directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka, music by AstroNoteS. Main cast: Kaede Hondo as Elaina, Kana Hanazawa as Fran, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Saya.
