A TV anime produced by Doga Kobo, based on the novel series by Ira Ishida published by Bungeishunju. Makoto "Makoto" Majima, based at Ikebukuro West Gate Park, gets involved in and resolves various troubles in the Ikebukuro district. The story revolves around his relationships with the "G-Boys" color gang leader Takashi Ando and police detective Yokoyama, where street youth culture and crime intersect. 12 episodes.
