Co-directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. series) and Shinji Aramaki (APPLESEED series). In 2045, sustainable warfare has become the world economy's centerpiece. Major Motoko Kusanagi and Public Security Section 9, returning from mercenary work in America, face a new threat: "Post-Humans" — beings with super-intelligence. Cyber-crime and political conspiracies intertwine as Section 9 confronts this emerging danger. Rendered in full 3DCG.
