Hina searches for the legendary hero known as the "Ace" in the world of Alcia, where numbers called "Counts" govern everything, and meets the mysterious swordsman Licht Bach. The second cour reveals Licht and company's past, the truth behind the "Abandonment War" 300 years ago, and the secrets of the Alcia world. 24 episodes total (continuous 2-cour). Broadcast from January 2020, second cour from April. Directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe, music by Go Sakabe.
