In The Fifth Plate, a mysterious chef named Asahi appears targeting Erina Nakiri's "God Tongue," challenging them to shokugeki. Soma, Erina, and Takumi face their ultimate battle. 13 episodes. Initially broadcast April 2020, interrupted due to COVID-19, resuming July through September. Directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani, music by Tatsuya Kato.
