Novelization published by KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko. Set in modern Japan, humanity faces the threat of "Pillars," hostile entities that appeared on Earth threatening all life. Conventional weapons prove useless against Pillars, so the Norse god Odin grants humanity power, selecting girls called "Valkyries" to fight using "Hero Wings"—aircraft modeled after WWII planes. Claudia Bruford, newly assigned to Tateyama Base, joins fellow Valkyries Miyako Muguruma, Azuzu Komagome, and Sonoka Watarai in aerial battles against the Pillars.
