The Quintessential Quintuplets

A TV anime produced by Tezuka Productions. Based on the manga by Negi Haruba serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, the series has surpassed 20 million copies in circulation (as of 2022). Poor high school sophomore Futaro Uesugi receives a well-paying tutoring job, only to discover his students are quintuplet classmates. The eldest Ichika, second sister Nino, third sister Miku, fourth sister Yotsuba, and youngest Itsuki are all beautiful but on the verge of failing. Futaro gradually earns the trust of the unique quintuplets through his interactions with them. The first season spans 12 episodes, directed by Satoshi Kuwabara with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi.
