A TV anime produced by Tatsunoko Production. An original animation created as a commemorative work for Tatsunoko Production's 55th anniversary. Set on a planet tens of thousands of light-years from Earth, this sci-fi mecha anime depicts the war between the Soleil Kingdom and the Grandiga Empire through the perspectives of two girls. The story contrasts cheerful Princess Yuuki Soleil with emotionally reserved Imperial soldier Stella Shining, as both re-examine the meaning and cost of "smiles." Spanning 12 episodes, directed by Toshimasa Suzuki with series composition by Shinichi Inotsume.
