A TV anime produced by GAINA, based on the manga by Makoto Isshiki serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine Uppers and later Morning, spanning 26 volumes with over 7 million copies in circulation. The second series follows genius pianist Kai Ichinose as he competes in the Chopin International Piano Competition, facing rivals including childhood friend Shuhei Amamiya, Pang Wei, and Lev Shimanowski. Aired on NHK General from January to April 2019 for 12 episodes (episodes 13-24). The cast includes Soma Saito as Kai, Junichi Suwabe as Sosuke Ajino, and Natsuki Hanae as Shuhei.
