A TV anime produced by Toei Animation, the 16th installment of the PreCure series created by Izumi Todo. Hikaru Hoshina, a second-year middle school student who loves space and constellations, encounters the mysterious creature Fuwa and aliens Lala and Prunce. When the Star Princesses of the distant Star Palace are attacked and scattered as Princess Star Color Pens across the universe, Hikaru transforms into Cure Star and embarks on a journey with Lala (Cure Milky), Elena Amamiya (Cure Soleil), Madoka Kaguya (Cure Selene), and Yuni (Cure Cosmo) to collect the pens. Aired on TV Asahi from February 2019 to January 2020 for 49 episodes. Cast includes Eimi Naruse, Konomi Kohara, Kiyono Yasuno, Mikako Komatsu, and Sumire Uesaka.
