A TV anime produced by Asahi Production, based on the browser/smartphone game "Namu Amida Butsu!" developed by Visualworks and distributed by DMM GAMES. A story of Buddhas who have descended to the mortal world to protect people from Mara, the embodiment of worldly desires. Thirteen Buddhas led by Shaka Nyorai—including Taishakuten, Bonten, Dainichi Nyorai, Ashuku Nyorai, Amida Nyorai, Yakushi Nyorai, and various Bodhisattvas—live together at Bonnoji Temple while fighting against Mara's schemes. The series depicts the colorful personalities and battles of the Buddhas. Aired on AT-X and others from April to June 2019 for 12 episodes. Directed by Akira Oguro.
