The second season TV anime produced by Shin-Ei Animation, based on the manga by Soichiro Yamamoto serialized in Shogakukan's "Gessan." The series has surpassed 12 million copies (as of 2023). At a certain middle school, a boy named Nishikata is constantly teased by the girl sitting next to him, Takagi-san. Despite devising daily schemes to tease her back, Takagi-san always sees through them. Now in their second year, can Nishikata finally get the upper hand? The series depicts their bittersweet daily life alongside the laid-back antics of classmates Mina, Yukari, and Sanae. 12 episodes. Directed by Hiroaki Akagi.
